Sachio Tazoe sensei was born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1959. Chief Instructor and Assistant Head of Aikido Yuishinkai, 10th Dan. He dedicated himself to judo during his middle and high school years. In 1978, he joined the Keio University Athletic Association Aikido Club and received instruction from Maruyama Koretoshi sensei. In 2008, he reunited with Maruyama sensei, who had become the head of Aikido Yuishinkai, and joined Aikido Yuishinkai.
After that, he instructed younger generations as the branch chief of Fukuoka and Chiba. On February 12, 2023, by order of Maruyama sensei, he assumed the positions of Chief Instructor and Assistant Head of Aikido Yuishinkai. In January 2025, he was certified as a 10th Dan. In April 2026, by order of Maruyama sensei, he became the second head of Aikido Yuishinkai, and currently dedicates himself to daily training to widely pass on his master’s techniques and teachings to the world and to future generations.
