44:32 How to do this in a technique, katatekosadori ikkyo
51:30 Feedback on this way of performing a technique while maintaining these principles
53:36 True Aikido, using in/yo and relax completely (soften your body). Practising in/yo and relaxation in katatekosadori ikkyo.
1:04:40 Effect of experiencing in/yo while taking ukemi. Don’t fall/loose balance, but stay connected to the earth by experiencing in/yo. Then you’re able to continue attacking nage, continue extending Ki towards nage. The legs carry the king, the legs do the work, the upper body is relaxed and keeps structure (square of hips and shoulders, elbows are relaxed close to body). Maintaining shinbashira and Ki musubi will naturally create a good posture, also when the technique is performed faster.
1:12:20 Exercise to keep the square posture of upper body (hips and shoulders).
1:15:09 Natural relaxed posture of elbows, then perform katatekosadori ikkyo with these principles and this posture.
1:26:23 Practise the parts, experience the whole, become one with the universe
1:28:50 Connected movement, move the joints of uke one by one, don’t force uke down. Aikido can keep you vital until high age, then it’s important to move and practise correctly.
1:43:44 Art of ukemi, overcome the basic reactions (fight, freeze, flee), always extend Ki to nage throughout the whole movement.
